The Choco Bar, named after the Ecological Reserve `El Chocó`, which stretches down from Central America into South America and is the richest reserve in birdlife in the world. This bar is an excellent place to have a cocktail at sunset and make new friends. You have to try the Piña Colada! The bar is open daily from 11AM to 11PM. Safe paths allow trekking through the jungle with naturalist guides pointing out the wonders of this enchanting area. After an easy ten-minute walk from the resort you reach the Negrito Creek. This creek is a peaceful setting for swimming and bathing or relaxing on the sandy beach. The Caoni River flows down the middle of a canyon with warm, clear water under shades made by magnificent ancient trees. Try your luck fishing for Tilapia and Cachama in the resort’s Mindo Lagoon.
A chocolate tour is a workshop that allows guests to participate in making chocolate, starting from cocoa beans. Give your taste buds a treat and sample a delicious tropical fruit fondue. |
