Utopia Dive Village

Utopia Village is nestled in the jungle on the edge of a beautiful beach with abundant coral reefs. Located on Utila, a small island dotted with tiny cays, its diverse culture, abundant natural resources, and one of a kind Island style, was specifically selected for Utopia’s Adventure Resort. A twenty minute boat ride from the nearest and only town,Utila, Utopia Village has no roads, no fast food joints and no nightclubs. Amenities include a full service dive shop, spa, restaurant with table service, 2 bars, one on the beach and one air conditioned, internet stations and WiFi. Relax at Utopia Village to the peaceful sounds of the ocean, footsteps crackling down the coral paths and the rustle of palm leaves in the breeze.

Utila offers a wide variety of easily accessible dive sites with varying underwater terrains. Sitting at the edge of the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, the water is teeming with colorful marine life. With over 100 charted dive sites Utila’s crystal blue waters host over 90% of marine inhabitants found in the Caribbean. Explore sea mounts, shallow fringing reefs, walls or wrecks from one of their custom dive boats or just dive in from Utopia’s shores to find a 130 foot drop off a mere 100 feet from the beach.

Utopia Village has an onsite dive operation, U Dive. It is fully equipped with an office, high end rental gear, guest locker room, outdoor dive deck and a custom dive boat. Gear specialists will move your equipment to and from the boat on a daily basis as well as properly rinse, dry in the shade and return them to your locker each day.
