| About ´Philippine Siren´ |
OVERVIEW The 40 meter Philippine Siren is the 3rd vessel designed and built by Worldwide Dive and Sail, using the lessons learnt from their previous two sailing yachts. A spacious air-conditioned saloon has cocktail bar, 42 inch flatscreen and computer server supporting the inter-cabin network. For relaxing between dives there is an expansive leisure deck area and a covered outdoor dining area. Other special features aboard this vessel include kayaks, massage service, laundry service and an onboard boutique.
Built on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi, she is a traditional gaft rigged Phinisi handcrafted from ironwood and teak. Built by divers for divers, you will find no other dive liveaboard as beautiful in Philippine waters. She welcomes up to 16 guests aboard each trip.

Tubbataha is only accessible by liveaboard and is known for the diversity of reef life along its steep walls.
A spacious dive deck ensures comfortable suiting up and Enriched Air Nitrox is free for all certified Nitrox divers. Two high-powered Zodiacs take you to the dive sites.

| About Andrew Sallmon |
Andrew Sallmon is a freelance underwater and nature photographer specializing in images of marine life and the marine environment. His love of the oceans came at age 5 when his father first swam him through the surf of coastal California. He took up Scuba diving in 1979 and became a Scuba Instructor by the end of 1980. It was the slower pace of observing and trying to approach marine life closely that helped him to see and understand the intricacies and miracles of the ocean ecosystem. As he learned to appreciate the living sea, his photographic skills also grew. Picking up his first underwater camera that same year he is now one of the fortunate few that earn a living as an underwater photographer. A native of California he spends much of his time diving and photographing the rich temperate waters of his home state but also travels abroad several months each year to create new images for his stock file. |
Along with his skill as an underwater cameraman he is well known for his digital imaging and underwater photography seminars and classes and is also the sales representative for Sea and Sea U.S.A., Southern California territory. His images are featured in advertisements, catalogs, books, magazines, calendars and posters. In addition, some of his images are on display at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Smithsonian institute. View Andy's photos and private photo classes at www.SeaIt.com |
