Located in the Western Caribbean, centrally located on the south shore of the island of Roatan, Barefoot Cay Resort is built around a privately owned four acre cay. This small, boutique resort offers just nine charming, luxury accommodations in a private setting with excellent services and modern amenities. Walk-on pontoon boats cross the short distance between the cay and the Roatan shore regularly, taking guests at a moment’s notice from one side to the other at any hour of the day or night. Barefoot Cay Resort has beachfront or ocean view accommodations, dining service, a pool on the cay, a spa and retail shop. On the other side of the channel is the Barefoot Divers building with it’s 5 star dive services. The Beach front bungalows are a one bedroom retreat with a private beachfront. There are only two of these bungalows, and they are the perfect choice for a couple’s vacation, whether you are celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary, or just want a tropical escape.

Gorgeous, spacious, and utterly unique, the beach front villas have two bedrooms on Barefoot Cay's private beach. This is a very popular vacation rental option for families or two couples vacationing together. All villa bedrooms include air conditioning and a private en suite bath with Balinese shower. The villas are designed with separate private entrances for each bedroom wing to make it a quiet and private experience for all occupants.

Located across from the cay, the airy studio loft accommodations and two bedroom loft suites have luxury amenities and offer spectacular views. The louvered walls along one side of the lofts open to spacious balconies with beautiful views of Barefoot Cay and the Caribbean Sea.

Barefoot Diver’s is a 5 star Instructor Development Center located on Barefoot Cay. They offer guests good accessibility to Roatan's premiere dive and snorkel sites, a full range of diving and training by experienced PADI instructors, nitrox, rental equipment, on site photo/video pro, private lockers and change rooms, water front deck and post dive socials. As well as diving services Barefoot Cay Resort offers fishing, Kayaking, snorkeling and beach combing. This is truly an oasis for those who love the tropics.
